ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ:ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਤੀਰਅੰਦਾਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦਾ ਤਗਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ

ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਤੀਰੰਦਾਜ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਟੋਕਿਓ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਸੇ ਦਾ ਤਗਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਇਹ ਤੀਰੰਦਾਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ਦਾ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਮੈਡਲ ਹੈ।

ਟੋਕਿਓ : ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾ ਤੀਰੰਦਾਜ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਟੋਕਿਓ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਰੁਸ਼ ਨਿਜੀ ਰਿਕਰਵ ਓਪਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਸੇ ਦਾ ਤਗਮਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਯੂਮੇਨੋਸ਼ੀਮਾ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਫੀਲਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੂਟਆਉਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਕੋਰੀਆ ਦੇ ਕਿਸ ਮਿਨ ਸੂ ਨੂੰ 6-5 ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ।

ਕਾਂਸੇ ਦੇ ਤਗਮੇ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੈਟ 26 - 24 ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਲੇਕਿਨ ਕੋਰਿਆਈ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੂਜਾ ਸੈਟ 29 - 27 ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਤੀਜੇ ਸੈਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ 28 ਦਾ ਸਕੋਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਕਿਮ 25 ਦਾ ਸਕੋਰ ਹੀ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ। ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ 4 - 2 ਦੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਗਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਲਈ ਅਗਲਾ ਰਾਊਂਡ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਸੀ , ਲੇਕਿਨ ਚੌਥੇ ਸੈਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਤੀਰੰਦਾਜਾਂ ਨੇ 25-25 ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਸੈਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ 26 ਦਾ ਸਕੋਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਲੇਕਿਨ ਕਿਮ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਅੰਕ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਦਾ ਸਕੋਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੂਟਆਉਟ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ।

ਸ਼ੂਟਆਉਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਮ ਨੇ ਅੱਠ ਦਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ 10 ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਟ ਖੇਡਿਆ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਤੀਰੰਦਾਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਸੇ ਦਾ ਤਗਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਟੋਕਿਓ ਪੈਰਾਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦੋ ਸੋਨ, ਛੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਕਾਂਸੇ ਦੇ ਤਗਮੇ ਸਮੇਤ ਕੁਲ 13 ਤਗਮੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
