ਹਵਾਈ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਮੁਖੀ ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਧਨੋਆ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬੰਬ ਸੁੱਟਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਬੰਬ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਹਨ। ਬੰਬ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਇਸਦੀ  ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ।"

ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਭਾਰਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਾਲਾਕੋਟ 'ਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਏਅਰ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ 'ਚ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤਦਗਰਦ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਮੁਖੀ ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਧਨੋਆ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ 'ਤੇ ਬੰਬ ਸੁੱਟਣ ਲਈ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਬੰਬ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਹਨ।

ਹਵਾਈ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਮੁਖੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਫਾਈਟਰ ਪਲੇਨ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਪਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਚਲਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਆਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਸ ਲੜਾਕੂ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।

ਵਿੰਗ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਅਭਿਨੰਦਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਫਿੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਅਜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਡੀਕਾਲ ਜਾਂਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੀ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਦੱਸਣਾ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਵਾਈ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਮੁਖੀ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਏਅਰ ਸਟ੍ਰਾਈਕ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਵਾਲ ਉਠ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਖੰਡਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
