ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੋਪੀਆ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਸੁਗਾਨ ਇਲਾਕੇ 'ਚ ਕੁਝ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਗੂਪਤ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਰਚ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸਰਚ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਫਾਈਰਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਜਵਾਬੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਫਾਈਰਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਠਭੇੜ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ 2 ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਹੈ ਹਲਾਂਕਿ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਇਥੇ ਹੋਰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਦਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਚਲਦੇ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਘੇਰਾਬੰਦੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਲਿੱਖੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੱਕ ਮੁਠਭੇੜ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਚਲਾਏ ਗਏ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਤਹਿਤ ਪਿੰਜਰਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿਖੇ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਫੈਲ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ 20 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲੋਕ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਫੌਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਚਲਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਸੜਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਉਤਰ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫੌਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੱਥਰਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
