ਤੂਫਾਨ 'ਫੈਨੀ' ਦੇ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਉੜੀਸਾ ਦੇ ਭੁਵਨੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡਾ ਵੀ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਾ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ 223 ਟ੍ਰੇਨਾਂ ਵੀ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
