ଏହାକୁ ନେଇ ନୌସନା କହିଛି (ମଙ୍ଗଳବାର) ସଂଧ୍ୟାରେ ମୁମ୍ବାଇ ନାଭାଲ ଡକୟାର୍ଡରେ ଏକ ଦୁର୍ଭାଗ୍ୟପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଘଟଣା ଘଟିଛି । INS ରଣବୀରର ଏକ କମ୍ପାର୍ଟମେଣ୍ଟରେ ବିସ୍ପୋରଣ ହୋଇଛି । ଯେଉଁଥିରେ 3 ଜଣ ଯବାନ ସହିଦ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । 10 ଜଣ ରୁ ଅଧିକ ଯବାନ ଆହତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି । ଘଟଣା ପରେ ପରେ ନାବିକ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ସଦସ୍ୟ ମାନେ ତୁରନ୍ତ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କରିଥିଲେ ।

INS ରଣବୀର ପୂ୍ର୍ବ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରେ କ୍ରାନ୍ସ ଅପରେସନରେ ଥିଲା । କିଛି ସମୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏହା ବେଶ ପୋର୍ଟକୁ ଫେରିଥାନ୍ତା । ଘଟଣାର ତଦନ୍ତ ପାଇଁ ବୋର୍ଡ ଅଫ ଇନକ୍ବାରୀ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି । ସମସ୍ତ ଆହତ ଯବାନ ଓ କ୍ରିଉ ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ନେଭି ହସ୍ପିଟାଲେର ଭର୍ତ୍ତି କରାଯାଇଛି ।

ଏହାସହ ପୁରା ଘଟଣାକୁ ନେଇ ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଳୟକୁ ଅବଗତ କରାଯାଇଛି । ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଅଧିକାରୀ ମାନେ ଘଟଣା ଉପରେ ନଜର ରଖିଛନ୍ତି ।

ସୂଚନାଯୋଗ୍ୟ INS ରଣବୀର 28 ଅକ୍ଟୋବର 1986 ମସିହାରେ ଭାରତୀୟ ନୌସେନାରେ ସାମିଲ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ଏହା ନୌସନାର ଏକ ବିଧ୍ବଂନ୍ସି ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଜାହାଜ । INS ରଣବୀର ପୁରା ଅତ୍ୟାଧୁନିକ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରଶସ୍ତ୍ର ସହ ସେନସର ଲେସ ଭାବେ ମୁତୟନ ହୋଇଥାଏ । ଏହାକୁ 310 ଜଣ ନାବିକଙ୍କ ସମେତ କ୍ରିଉ ସଦସ୍ୟ ପରିଚାଳନା କରିଥାନ୍ତି ।
