दिल्लीने यंदाच्या हंगामातील सातवा विजय साकारला. तर, बंगळुरु संघाचा सलग दुसरा पराभव झाला आहे. त्यागराज स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्समध्ये खेळल्या गेलेल्या या सामन्यात दिल्लीचा संघ पहिल्या सत्रात ११-१९ ने पिछाडीवर पडला होता. दुसऱ्या सत्रातही बंगळुरु संघाने आघाडी घेतली होती. मात्र, ३७ व्या मिनिटाला यजमान संघाने बंगळुरुला सर्वबाद करत २८-२६ अशी आघाडी घेतली.
या आघाडीनंतर दिल्लीच्या संघाने मागे वळून पाहिले नाही. बंगळुरुचा स्टार खेळाडू पवन कुमारने १७ गुण पटकावले. मात्र नवीन कुमारच्या खेळीने हा सामना पालटला. या सामन्यात नवीन कुमारने १३ गुण कमावत प्रो कबड्डी लीगमध्ये वैयक्तिक २५० गुण मिळवले आहेत.
