मुंबई - परिणीता, लागा चुनरी में दाग, मर्दानी आणि हेलिकॉप्टर ईला यांसारख्या अनेक चित्रपटांचे दिग्दर्शन करण्यासाठी ओळखले जाणारे चित्रपट निर्माते प्रदीप सरकार यांचे वयाच्या ६८ व्या वर्षी निधन झाले. प्रदीप सरकार यांच्या चित्रपटसृष्टीतील सहकाऱ्यांना त्यांच्या निधनाची बातमी समजली आणि एका दु:खी सकाळी उगवली. चित्रपट निर्मात्याच्या अकाली निधनाने हंसल मेहता, अशोक पंडित आणि राम कमल यांच्यासह चित्रपट निर्मात्यांनी ट्विटद्वारे या बातमीला दुजोरा दिला.
