मुंबई - राज्यातील महानगरांमधील सर्व दुकाने 31 मार्चपर्यंत बंद ठेवण्याचा निर्णय महाराष्ट्र सरकारने घेतला आहे. यासंबंधी त्यांनी ऑनलाईन पद्धतीद्वारे राज्याला संबोधित केले. बंद करण्यात आलेल्या शहरांमध्ये मुंबई महानगर, पुणे, पिंपरी-चिंचवड आणि नागपूरचा समावेश आहे. फक्त जीवनावश्यक वस्तूंची दुकाने चालू राहणार असल्याची घोषणा मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी यावेळी केली.
अद्याप परिवहन सेवा थांबवणार नसून गर्दी कमी न झाल्यास लवकरच बससेवा व लोकल बंद करण्याचे संकेत देखील त्यांनी दिले आहेत. तसेच सरकारी कर्मचाऱ्यांची उपस्थिती 50 टक्क्यांवरून 25 टक्क्यांवर आणणार असल्याची माहिती मुख्यमंत्र्यांनी दिली. यावेळी आरोग्यमंत्री राजेश टोपे तसेच राज्याचे मुख्य सचिव अजोय मेहता उपस्थित होते. महानगरांमधील अत्यावश्यक सेवा सुरू राहणार असून यामध्ये दूध, अन्नधान्य, मेडिकल आणि बँकांचा समावेश आहे.
