गुजरात - कमलेश तिवारी यांच्या हत्येप्रकरणी ताब्यात घेण्यात आलेल्या तीनही आरोपींनी आपला गुन्हा कबूल केला आहे. गुजरातच्या दहशतवादी विरोधी पथकाचे पोलीस उपमहानिरिक्षक हिमांशू शुक्ला यांनी ही माहिती दिली. लखनऊ येथे हिंदू समाज पक्षाचे अध्यक्ष कमलेश तिवारी यांची भरदिवसा त्यांच्या कार्यालयातच गळा चिरून हत्या करण्यात आली होती.

याबाबत अधिक माहिती देताना उत्तर प्रदेशचे पोलीस महासंचालक ओ. पी. सिंग यांनी सांगितले, की चौकशीदरम्यान या तीनही आरोपींनी आपला गुन्हा कबूल केला आहे. कमलेश यांनी २०१५ला केलेल्या एका भडकाऊ भाषणाचा राग मनात धरुन या तिघांनी कमलेश यांचा खून केला. एकूण पाहता, हा एक नियोजनबद्ध हल्ला होता.

कमलेश तिवारी यांची त्यांच्या कार्यालयातच हत्या झाली होती. हत्येपूर्वी हल्लेखोरांनी तिवारी यांच्याशी अर्धा तास चर्चा केली, त्यानंतर मिठाईच्या डब्यातून चाकू बाहेर काढला आणि गळा चिरून त्यांना ठार मारले. याआधी त्यांनी तिवारी यांच्या सेवकाला मसाला आणि सिगारेट आणण्यासाठी बाहेर पाठवले. तो परत येईपर्यंत, हल्लेखोर तिवारींना ठार मारून फरार झाले होते. तिवारी यांचे सेवक स्वराष्ट्रजीत सिंह यांनी या संपूर्ण घटनेची माहिती दिली.हिंदु महासभेचे माजी नेते कमलेश तिवारी यांनी जानेवारी २०१७ मध्ये हिंदु समाज पक्षाची स्थापना केली. तिवारी यापूर्वी हिंदू महासभेचे अध्यक्ष होते. कमलेश तिवारी यांनी प्रेषित मुहम्मद यांच्याशी संबंधित वादग्रस्त टीका केली आणि त्यानंतर त्यांना अटक करण्यात आली होती. त्यांच्यावर राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा कायदा (एनएसए) लागू करण्यात आला होता. अलीकडेच अलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालयाच्या लखनऊ खंडपीठाने त्यांच्याविरूद्ध एनएसए रद्द केले होते.
