'ജെഎന്‍യു ഭീകരാക്രമണം' എന്ന ഹാഷ് ടാഗിനൊപ്പമാണ് സിദ്ധാര്‍ത്ഥ് ബിജെപിക്കെതിരെ രൂക്ഷ വിമർശനം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്.

ജെഎന്‍യുവിൽ നടന്ന അക്രമം നാസികൾ നടപ്പാക്കിയ ക്രൂരതകൾക്ക് സമാനമാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ നടന്‍ സിദ്ധാര്‍ത്ഥ് ബിജെപിക്കെതിരെ പുതിയ വിമര്‍ശനവുമായി രംഗത്ത്. "ചൗക്കിദാര്‍ ഗുണ്ടയാണ്" എന്ന് ട്വിറ്ററിൽ സിദ്ധാര്‍ത്ഥ് കുറിച്ചപ്പോൾ താരത്തിന് പിന്തുണയുമായി നിരവധി പേരാണ് മറുപടി ട്വീറ്റുമായെത്തിയത്.

ഫാസിസ്റ്റുകള്‍ സര്‍വകലാശാലകളിൽ അക്രമം അഴിച്ചുവിട്ട് അറിവിന്‍റെ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ തകർക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. അഭിപ്രായങ്ങളെയും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമുള്ളവരെയും അവർ ഭയക്കുന്നതിനാൽ തന്നെ സര്‍വകലാശാലകളുടെ പൂർണ അധികാരം തങ്ങൾക്കു കീഴിലാകുന്നതു വരെ അത് അടച്ചിടാനുള്ള ശ്രമമായിരിക്കും ഇവരുടെ ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്നുണ്ടാകുന്നതെന്നും ജെഎൻയുവിലെ വിദ്യാർഥികൾക്ക് നേരെയുണ്ടായ ആക്രമണത്തിനെതിരെ നേരത്തെ സിദ്ധാര്‍ത്ഥ് പ്രതികരിച്ചിരുന്നു. അക്രമികളെ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലെന്ന ചോദ്യവും താരം ഉന്നയിച്ചിരുന്നു.
