ബംഗാളി സിനിമയുടെ മുഖച്ഛായ മാറ്റിയ ഇതിഹാസ നടന്‍ സൗമിത്ര ചാറ്റര്‍ജിയുടെ നിര്യാണം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സിനിമയ്ക്ക് നികത്താനാകാത്ത നഷ്ടമാണ്. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി അടക്കം നിരവധി പ്രമുഖര്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ആദരാഞ്ജലികള്‍ അര്‍പ്പിച്ചു. ഇപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ നിര്യാണത്തില്‍ അനുശോചന കുറിപ്പ് പങ്കുവെച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ് നടിയും സംവിധായികയുമായ നന്ദിത ദാസ്. വിഖ്യാത നടനൊപ്പം തനിക്കും സ്ക്രീന്‍ പങ്കിടാന്‍ സാധിച്ചതിന്‍റെ ഓര്‍മകളാണ് കുറിപ്പില്‍ നന്ദിത ദാസ് ചേര്‍ത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.
