ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: സമുദ്രാന്തര സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിനായി ഇന്ത്യന്‍ യുദ്ധക്കപ്പലായ തര്‍ക്കാശ് ഫ്രാന്‍സിലെ സെന്‍റ് ഡനീസിലെത്തി. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ നാവിക സേനയുടെ മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ സംയുക്ത സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് കപ്പല്‍ ഫ്രാന്‍സിലെത്തിയത്. കപ്പല്‍ ആഫ്രിക്ക യൂറോപ്പ് റഷ്യ തുടങ്ങിയ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും സന്ദര്‍ശനം നടത്തും.
ക്യാപ്റ്റന്‍ സതീഷ് വാസുദേവന്‍റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് കപ്പല്‍ വിദേശ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശനം നടത്തുന്നത്. ഐസ്‌ലാന്‍റിലെത്തിയ കപ്പലിന് മേയറുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് സ്വീകരണം നല്‍കിയത്. ഇരു രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെയും സേനകള്‍ സംയുക്തമായി കായിക അഭ്യാസ പ്രകടനങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തിയതായും സേനാ വൃത്തങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
റഡാറുകള്‍ക്ക് കണ്ടുപിടിക്കാന്‍ പ്രയാസമായ സ്റ്റെല്‍ത്ത് സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യയില്‍ നിര്‍മിച്ച തല്‍വാര്‍ ക്ലാസിലുള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന യുദ്ധക്കപ്പലാണ് ഐഎന്‍എസ് തര്‍ക്കാശ്. ഇന്ത്യയുടേയും റഷ്യയുടെ സംയുക്ത സഹകരണത്തോടെയാണ് തര്‍ക്കാശ് നിര്‍മിച്ചത്. നാവികസേനയുടെ പശ്ചിമ കപ്പല്‍ വ്യൂഹത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാഗം കൂടിയാണിത്. രക്തരൂഷിത പോരാട്ടം നടന്ന യമനില്‍ നിന്ന് ഇന്ത്യക്കാരെ ഒഴിപ്പിച്ച ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ റാഹത്തിന്‍റെ അമരത്തും തര്‍ക്കാശായിരുന്നു.

Indian Naval Ship Tarkash arrived at St Denis, Reunion Island, France today for a three-day visit as part of Indian Navy's Overseas Deployment to Africa, Europe and Russia. The ship is part of the Indian Navy's Western Fleet and is commanded by Captain Sathish Vasudev.
New Delhi: As part of Indian Navy's Overseas Deployment to Africa, Europe and Russia, Indian Naval Ship Tarkash arrived at St Denis, Reunion Island, France today for a three-day visit.
INS Tarkash is a frontline frigate equipped with a versatile range of weapons and sensors. The ship is part of the Indian Navy's Western Fleet.
"Ship commanded by Captain Sathish Vasudev during the port call will pay courtesy calls on various dignitaries and government officials at reunion Island including the superior commander of French naval forces in the Southern Indian Ocean, Prefect of Reunion Island and the Mayor of Le Port." said a Navy statement.
In addition, social engagements, sports events and best practices will also be shared between the two Navies.

The Talwar class guided missile frigates are modified Krivak III class frigates from Russia. The Talwar Class has a displacement of 4,000 tons and speed of 30 knots and is capable of accomplishing a wide variety of naval missions, primarily, finding and eliminating enemy submarines and large surface ships. Due to the use of stealth technologies and a special hull design, the resulting frigate features reduced radar cross section (RCS) as well as electromagnetic, acoustic and infrared signatures.
