ಲಂಡನ್: ಬ್ರಿಟನ್ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಪೈಪೋಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದೇಶಾಂಗ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಲಿಜ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ ಅವರು ಭಾರತ ಮೂಲದ ರಿಷಿ ಸುನಕ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಲವತ್ತೇಳು ವರ್ಷದ ಲಿಜ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ ಇಂಗ್ಲೆಂಡ್ನ ಮೂರನೇ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕನ್ಸರ್ವೇಟಿವ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಲಿಜ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ ಇನ್ಫೋಸಿಸ್ನ ನಾರಾಯಣ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರ ಅಳಿಯ ರಿಷಿ ಸುನಕ್ ಅವರಿಗಿಂತ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮತಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದರು.
