ಸಿಯಾಚಿನ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಯೋಜನೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಮೂಲದ ಅಗ್ನಿವೀರ್​ ಗವಟೆ ಅಕ್ಷಯ್​ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ್​ ಹುತಾತ್ಮರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಕೇಂದ್ರಾಡಳಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶವಾದ ಲಡಾಖ್​ನ ಸಿಯಾಚಿನ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಯೋಜನೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದ 'ಅಗ್ನಿವೀರ್​'​​​ ಗವಟೆ ಅಕ್ಷಯ್​ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ್​ ಎಂಬುವರು ಹುತಾತ್ಮರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರು ಸೇನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೊದಲ ಅಗ್ನಿವೀರ್​ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನೆಯು ಭಾನುವಾರ ಅಂತಿಮ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆ.
