ಫಾರೂಖಾಬಾದ್(ಉತ್ತರಪ್ರದೇಶ): 20 ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನ ಒತ್ತೆಯಾಳಾಗಿ ಇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನ ಎನ್ಕೌಂಟರ್ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಫಾರೂಖಾಬಾದ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕೊತವಾಲಿ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಬಾಥಮ್ ಕೊಲೆ ಆರೋಪದ ಮೇಲೆ ಜೈಲು ಸೇರಿದ್ದ. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಜಾಮೀನು ಪಡೆದು ಹೊರಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಆತ ತನ್ನ ಮಗಳ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವ ನೆಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲವು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು 20 ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಒತ್ತೆಯಾಳಾಗಿ ಇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ.
ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ದೌಡಾಯಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗೆ ಮುಂದಾದರು. ಆರೋಪಿ ಬಳಿ ರಿವಾಲ್ವರ್ ಇದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನಾ ನಿಗ್ರಹ ದಳ ಕೂಡ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ದೌಡಾಯಿಸಿತ್ತು.

" ಸುಮಾರು 9 ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಆರೋಪಿ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಬಾಥಮ್ನನ್ನ ಎನ್ಕೌಂಟರ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ" ಎಂದು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಅವನೀಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವಸ್ಥಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ 10 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
