मुंबई: कप्तान हार्दिक पांड्या (62 नाबाद) और राशिद खान (19 नाबाद) की धुआंधार पारी भी गुजरात टाइटंस (GT) की हार को नहीं टाल सकी और रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर (RCB) ने 8 विकेट से मैच अपने नाम कर किया. बैंगलोर की तरफ से विराट कोहली ने 73 और फाफ डुप्लेसी ने 44 रन बनाए जबकि ग्लेन मैक्सवेल 18 गेंदों में 40 रन बनाकर नाबाद रहे.
कोहली की जबरदस्त वापसी: गुजरात की ओर से दिए गये 169 रनों के लक्ष्य का जवाब देने उतरी बैंगलोर की टीम को कोहली और कप्तान प्लेसी ने 115 रन की साझेदारी कर मजबूत दी. प्लेसी के आउट होने के बाद कोहली ने ग्लेन मैक्सवेल के साथ पार्टनरशिप की. इस बीच 146 रन के कुल टोटल पर कोहली 73 रन बनाकर आउट हो गए. हालांकि, कोहली के जाने के बाद मैक्सवेल ने ताबड़तोड़ बल्लेबाजी जारी रखी और 18.4 ओवर में ही जीत दिला दी. मैक्सवेल ने 18 गेंदों पर नाबाद 40 रन जड़े. गुजरात के लिए राशिद खान ने ही दोनों विकेट लिए.

वहीं, गुजरात ने 123 रनों पर अपना चौथा विकेट खो दिया. इसके बाद, राहुल तेवतिया (2) भी चलते बने. 17.3 ओवर में गुजरात ने पांच विकेट गंवाकर 132 रन बनाए. 19वें ओवर में कौल की गेंदों पर राशिद खान चौका मारा और फिर सिंगल लिया, जिसके बाद हार्दिक ने चौका मारकर 42 गेंदों में अर्धशतक पूरा कर लिया.
