धर्मशाला: 28 अक्टूबर को धर्मशाला क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में ऑस्ट्रेलिया और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच मैच खेला जाएगा. मैच से पहले न्यूजीलैंड क्रिकेट टीम के कैप्टन टॉम लेथम ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की और आगामी मैच को लेकर टीम की तैयारियों के बारे में बताया. उन्होंने कहा अब टीम पूरी तरह से मैदान में उतरने को तैयार है. शनिवार को होने वाले मैच को लेकर टॉस भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने वाला है, लेकिन एक टीम की रूप में हम हर तरह के क्रिकेट खेलने के लिए तैयार हैं.

कैप्टन टॉम लेथम ने कहा हमें धर्मशाला मैक्लोडगंज में तिब्बती धर्मगुरू दलाई लामा से मिलने का मौका मिला है और मोनेस्ट्री में भी जाना हुआ है. ये अनुभव बहुत अच्छा रहा है. टीम को हल्का ब्रेक मिला है, लेकिन अब टीम पूरी तरह से मैदान में उतरने को तैयार है. ऑस्ट्रेलिया के साथ खेलना हमेशा महत्वपूर्ण रहता है. इस बार बड़े इवेंट में भारत में खेल रहे हैं, यह रोमाचंक होने वाला है.

टॉम लेंथम ने कहा ऑस्ट्रेलिया टीम ने अपने पिछले तीन मैचों में महत्वपूर्ण क्रिकेट खेला है. जिससे एक बार फिर साबित किया है कि वह क्यों बड़ी टीमों की श्रेणी में आती है. कीवी कैप्टन ने कहा अब दिन में मैच होना है, ऐसे में स्तिथियां अलग रहेगी. बावजूद इसके पहले से एक मैच न्यूजीलैंड की टीम धर्मशाला में खेल चुकी है. न्यूजीलैंड टीम को अपने अगले मैच में यहां पर लाभ मिलने वाला है.

उन्होंने कहा न्यूजीलैंड की टीम ने यहां पर मैच खेलने के साथ ही लंबा समय बिताया है. ऐसे में टीम के खिलाड़ियों को बड़ी मदद मिलेगी. न्यूजीलैंड के गेंदबाज हर टीम के खिलाफ बेहतरीन गेंदबाजी में करने में सक्षम हैं. ऐसे में शनिवार को मैच में महत्वपूर्ण मुकाबला देखने को मिलेगा. टॉम लेंथम ने कहा पिछले कुछ मैचों की ऑस्ट्रेलिया की गेम्स को देखते हुए, अब टीम ने नया प्लान तैयार किया है.
28 अक्टूबर को मैच हमारे लिए भी महत्वपूर्ण रहने वाला है. हमने भारत के साथ लास्ट मैच हारा है. ऐसे में हम एक बार फिर से टूर्नामेंट में वापसी करना चाहेंगे. ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ हम मैच प्लान के तहत उतरेंगे और अपनी बेहतरीन बल्लेबाजी, गेंदबाजी और फील्डिंग का सिलसिला जारी रखेंगे.
