नई दिल्ली: राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने पीटी उषा, इलैयाराजा समेत चार हस्तियों को राज्यसभा के लिए मनोनीत किया है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने ट्वीट कर इसकी जानकारी दी और सभी के योगदान की सराहना की. पीएम मोदी ने अलग-अलग ट्वीट में चारों हस्तियों को बधाई दी.
पीएम मोदी ने पूर्व एथलीट पीटी उषा को टैग करते हुए ट्वीट किया कि पीटी उषा हर भारतीय के लिए एक प्रेरणा हैं. खेलों में उनकी उपलब्धियों को व्यापक रूप से जाना जाता है, लेकिन पिछले कई वर्षों में नवोदित एथलीटों का मार्गदर्शन करने के लिए उनका काम उतना ही सराहनीय है. उन्हें राज्यसभा के लिए मनोनीत किए जाने पर बधाई.
