चंडीगढ़ : केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने हरियाणा के गुरुग्राम में आज पौधरोपण किया. शाह गुरुग्राम के खादरपुर में 'अखिल भारतीय वृक्षारोपण अभियान' में भाग लेने पहुंचे थे. उन्होंने कहा, 'वृक्ष हमारे पर्यावरण की बहुत मूल्यवान संपदा हैं. ये न सिर्फ सभी जीवों के लिए ऑक्सीजन देते हैं बल्कि मनुष्यों के लिए आवश्यक संसाधनों की पूर्ति भी करते हैं.

शाह ने कहा, 'मैं हमारे सशस्त्र बालों के वीर जवानों का अभिनंदन करता हूं और उन्हें बधाई देता हूं, जो देश की रक्षा के साथ-साथ पर्यावरण की रक्षा करने वाले इस विशाल अभियान के माध्यम से देशभर में 1.37 करोड़ से अधिक लंबी आयु वाले वृक्षों के पौधे लगा रहे हैं.'
अखिल भारतीय वृक्षारोपण अभियान केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बल (सीएपीएफ) द्वारा चलाया जा रहा है.

कोविड-19 पर भी बोले गृह मंत्री शाह
शाह ने कहा, 'कोविड-19 की लड़ाई में, हमारे सभी सुरक्षा बल एक बड़ी भूमिका निभा रहे हैं. कोई भी इससे इनकार नहीं कर सकता. आज मैं इन कोरोना योद्धाओं को सलाम करता हूं. उन्होंने साबित कर दिया है कि वह न केवल आतंकवाद से लड़ना जानते हैं बल्कि लोगों की मदद के लिए कोविड-19 के खिलाफ भी हैं.'
उन्होंने कहा, 'भारत सबसे अधिक आबादी वाले देशों में से एक है. सभी देशों ने सोचा कि कोविड-19 से भारत कैसे लड़ाई करेगा. लेकिन आज पूरी दुनिया देख रही है कि कैसे कोविड-19 के खिलाफ सबसे सफल लड़ाई यहां लड़ी जा रही है.'
