स्विटजरलैंड के लिए पहला गोल ब्रील एम्बोलो ने किया. उन्होंने 48वें मिनट में गोल किया. इस तरह स्विटजरलैंड ने कैमरून के खिलाफ 1-0 की बढ़त हासिल कर ली है. एम्बोलो कैमरून में जन्मे हैं, लेकिन वह स्विट्जरलैंड की राष्ट्रीय टीम के लिए खेलते हैं.
