कराची: पाकिस्तान के तेज गेंदबाज शाहीन शाह अफरीदी ने शनिवार को दूसरे टी20 के दौरान अफीफ हुसैन पर एक थ्रो फेंकने के लिये बांग्लादेश के इस बल्लेबाज से व्यक्तिगत रूप से माफी मांगी.
हुसैन ने शाहीन अफरीदी की गेंद पर छक्का लगाया. जिसके बाद यह पाकिस्तानी गेंदबाज आपा खो बैठा. अफरीदी ने बाद में फोलो थ्रू में गेंद लेकर इसे स्टंप की ओर फेंका, हालांकि हुसैन उस समय अपनी क्रीज पर थे.

यह गेंद बल्लेबाज को लग गयी और उन्हें देखने के लिये डाॉक्टर को मैदान पर जाना पड़ा.

पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड (पीसीबी) ने एक वीडियो जारी किया जिसमें शाहीन मैच के बाद हुसैन की ओर जा रहे हैं और अपनी इस हरकत के लिये माफी मांग रहे थे. साथ ही उन्होंने मुस्कुराकर बांग्लादेशी बल्लेबाज को गले भी लगाया.
शाहीन का गैर जरूरी आक्रामक बर्ताव न तो पाकिस्तानी टीम प्रबंधन और न ही पीसीबी को अच्छा लगा जिससे इस तेज गेंदबाज को तुरंत कहा गया कि उन्हें अफीफ से माफी मांगनी चाहिए.
पाकिस्तान ने दूसरा टी20 मैच जीतकर तीन मैचों की श्रृंखला में 2-0 की अजेय बढ़त बना ली है. लेकिन एक अन्य तेज गेंदबाज हसन अली का बर्ताव भी प्रबंधन को पसंद नहीं आया है.
हसन को पहले टी20 में बांग्लादेशी बल्लेबाज नुरूल हसन के आउट होने के बाद की गयी हरकत के लिये फटकार भी लगायी गयी थी.
