क्राइस्टचर्च टेस्ट : विलियमसन के शतक से न्यूजीलैंड पहली पारी में बढ़त के करीब

कप्तान केन विलियम्सन ने एक बार फिर शानदार बल्लेबाजी करते हुए हेग्ले ओवल मैदान पर खेले जा रहे दूसरे टेस्ट मैच के दूसरे दिन सोमवार को न्यूजीलैंड को पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ मजबूत स्थिति में पहुंचा दिया है.

क्राइस्टचर्च: न्यूजीलैंड बनाम पाकिस्तान के दूसरे दिन का अंत न्यूजीलैंड ने तीन विकेट के नुकसान पर 286 रनों के साथ किया है. विलियम्सन 112 रन बनाकर नाबाद हैं और उनके साथ हेनरी निकोलस 89 रन बनाकर कप्तान के साथ डटे हैं.

पाकिस्तान की टीम पहली पारी में 297 रनों पर ही ऑल आउट हो गई थी. दूसरे दिन अपनी पहली पारी खेलने उतरी कीवी टीम को अच्छी शुरुआत नहीं मिली. शाहीन शाह अफरीदी और फहीम अशरफ ने 52 के कुल स्कोर पर कीवी टीम के दो विकेट चटका दिए.

52 के कुल स्कोर पर टॉम ब्लंडल (16) को अशरफ ने आउट किया। इसी स्कोर पर टॉम लाथम (33) को अफरीदी ने पवेलियन भेज दिया. 71 के कुल स्कोर पर रॉस टेलर (12) को मोहम्मद अब्बास ने आउट कर कीवी टीम को तीसरा विकेट दिलाया. यहां कीवी टीम को चौथा झटका लग गया होता. निकोलस आउट हो गए थे लेकिन वो नो बाल निकली जिसके कारण निकोलस बच गए और मैच का पासा पलट गया.

इसके बाद विलियम्सन और निकोलस ने पाकिस्तान को चौथी सफलता हाथ नहीं लगने दी. इस बीच विलियम्सन ने अपने करियर का 24वां टेस्ट शतक पूरा किया. दोनों ने अभी तक चौथे विकेट के लिए 215 रनों की साझेदारी कर ली है और साथ ही यह सुनिश्चित किया कि पाकिस्तान टीम हावी नहीं हो पाए.

विलियम्सन ने अभी तक 175 गेंदों का सामना किया और 16 चौके लगाए हैं। वहीं निकोलस 186 गेंद खेल चुके हैं. उन्होंने अभी तक आठ चौके मारे हैं.
