'सूरमा भोपाली' जगदीप को फिल्मी सितारों ने दी श्रद्धांजलि

फिल्म 'शोले' में सूरमा भोपाली के किरदार से मशहूर दिग्गज कॉमेडियन जगदीप का बुधवार को निधन हो गया. वह 81 वर्ष के थे. दिवंगत अभिनेता को गुरुवार को मुंबई के मझगांव कब्रिस्तान में सुपुर्द-ए-खाक किया गया. उनके निधन पर कई बॉलीवुड अभिनेताओं और फिल्मकारों ने खासकर उनके साथ काम करने वालों ने दुख व्यक्त करने के लिए सोशल मीडिया का सहारा लिया.

मुंबई: दिग्गज अभिनेता व कॉमेडियन जगदीप का बुधवार को बढ़ती उम्र से संबंधित स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं के चलते 81 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया. अमिताभ बच्चन, अजय देवगन, अनिल कपूर और शबाना आजमी जैसे तमाम बॉलीवुड सेलेब्रिटीज ने उनके निधन पर शोक व्यक्त किया है.

जगदीप का जन्म 29 मार्च, 1939 को अमृतसर में हुआ था. उनका वास्तविक नाम सैय्यद इश्तियाक अहमद जाफरी था.

अपने जीवनकाल में उन्होंने 400 से अधिक फिल्में कीं. साल 1975 में आई रमेश सिप्पी की ब्लॉकबस्टर फिल्म 'शोले' में निभाए गए अपने किरदार सूरमा भोपाली से वह खूब मशहूर हुए.

नई पीढ़ी उन्हें राजकुमार संतोषी की फिल्म 'अंदाज अपना अपना' (1994) में सलमान खान के पिता के रूप में याद करती है.

अमिताभ बच्चन ने लिखा, "बीती रात हमने एक और रत्न खो दिया. जगदीप. असाधारण हास्य प्रदर्शनों के अभिनेता का निधन. उन्होंने अपनी खुद की एक शैली का निर्माण किया और मुझे उनके साथ कुछ फिल्मों में काम करने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ..दर्शकों की निगाहों में 'शोले' और 'शहंशाह' मुख्य हैं. उन्होंने मुझसे एक फिल्म में एक छोटी सी अतिथि भूमिका निभाने का भी आग्रह किया था जिसे वह प्रोड्यूस कर रहे थे और मैंने उसे किया. एक विनम्र इंसान, लाखों के चहेते..सैय्यद इश्तियाक अहमद जाफरी उनका असली नाम है, जगदीप उनका फिल्मी नाम है. उन्होंने फिल्म जगत को कुछ बेहद ही यादगार प्रस्तुतियां दीं जिसने चारों ओर खूब सारी खुशियां लाईं.
