मुंबई : लेजेंडरी अभिनेता अमिताभ बच्चन, जिन्होंने शनिवार को 'अर्थ आवर' का निरीक्षण किया. उन्होंने अपनी निराशा जाहिर की क्योंकि बहुत से लोगों ने लाइट्स को बंद करके इस प्राकृतिक घटना का अनुभव नहीं किया.
77 वर्षीय अभिनेता ने ट्विटर पर पोस्ट लिखते हुए अपनी निराशा जाहिर की और कहा कि लोगों ने एकता के प्रतीक के रुप में रात 8:30 से 9:30 के बीच लाइटें बंद नहीं की और क्लाइमेट चेंज के प्रति जागरुकता फैलाने से चूक गए.
ट्वीट में बच्चन ने लिखा, 'अर्थ आवर', आज रात 8:30 से 9:30 से लाइट्स बंद करनी थी... बस अभी इसका निरीक्षण करके आपके पास आया हूं.. दुख है, मैंने अपनी खिड़की से देखा, इसका निरीक्षण करने के लिए काफी लोग नहीं थे.'

इससे पहले दीया मिर्जा, रणदीप हुड्डा, सोनाक्षी सिन्हा, भूमि पेडनेकर समेत अन्य सेलेब्स ने लोगों से सोशल मीडिया के जरिए 'अर्थ आवर' का निरीक्षण करने की अपील की थी.

'अर्थ आवर' एक सालाना रिवाज है जिसके तहत दुनियाभर में लोग लाइट्स बंद करके क्लाइमेट चेंज और प्रकृति के प्रति जागरुकता फैलाने में शामिल होते हैं.
