हैदराबाद : आज पूरी दुनिया में विश्व शेफ दिवस/अंतरराष्ट्रीय शेफ दिवस मनाया जा रहा है. साल 2004 में इसकी शुरूआत शेफ डॉ. बिल गैलाघेर ने किया था, जो वर्तमान में इस दुनिया में नहीं हैं. इसका उद्देश्य समाज में शेफ के योगदान को सम्मान करना करना है. इस दिन शेफ समुदाय अगली पीढ़ी के बच्चों को खाना पकाने, स्वस्थ भोजन इससे संबंधित कला-कौशल के बारे में शिक्षित करते हैं और इस पेशे से जुड़ने के लिए उनसे आह्वान करते हैं.

अंतरराष्ट्रीय शेफ दिवस थीम
अंतरराष्ट्रीय शेफ दिवस 2023 के लिए थीम 'ग्रोइंग ग्रेट शेफ्स' रखा गया है. थीम की घोषणा नेस्ले प्रोफेशनल और वर्ल्ड शेफ्स की ओर से संयुक्त रूप से किया गया है. यह थीम दिवंगत शेफ डॉ. बिल गैलाघेर को सम्मान देने के लिए किया गया. डॉ. गैलाघेर की इच्छा के अनुरूप इस साल दुनिया भर के अलग-अलग देशों के युवाओं को शेफ बनने की इच्छा रखने के लिए उन्हें प्रोत्साहित करना है.

खानापाक कला बनाने की कला (पाक कला) आज के समय के में काफी बड़ा है. इसके अंतर्गत दुनिया भर में फैले रेस्तरां व कैफे, इससे जुड़े टीवी, किताबें, पेशेवर शेफ शामिल हैं. आम लोगों के स्वाद के पैटर्न में बदलाव, खर्च के लिए उपलब्ध राशि, इंटरनेट की उपब्धता, सोशल मीडिया के कारण खाना बनाने की दुनिया में बदलाव व विस्तार आगे भी होने की संभावना है. भारतीय पाक कला (खाना बनाने की कला ) काफी समृद्ध है. इसने दुनिया को कई बेहतरीन खाना और रेसिपी देने का काम किया है.

दुनिया में अलग पहचान बनाने वाले 10 भारतीय शेफ
