નવી દિલ્હી: મહિલા અંડર-19 T20 વર્લ્ડ કપ 2023ની સેમિફાઇનલમાં ભારતીય ટીમે ન્યૂઝીલેન્ડને 8 વિકેટથી હરાવ્યું છે. આ સાથે ટીમ ઈન્ડિયા ફાઈનલમાં પહોંચી ગઈ છે. આ માટે દેશભરમાંથી મહિલા ખેલાડીઓને શુભેચ્છાઓ મળી રહી છે. આ ખાસ અવસર પર કેન્દ્રીય ગૃહપ્રધાન અમિત શાહે તમામ ખેલાડીઓને ફાઇનલમાં પહોંચવા બદલ અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા છે. તેણે ટ્વીટ કર્યું કે 'ન્યૂઝીલેન્ડને હરાવીને અંડર-19 T20 વર્લ્ડ કપની ફાઇનલમાં પ્રવેશવા બદલ ભારતની અંડર-19 મહિલા ક્રિકેટ ટીમ, શેફાલી વર્માની કેપ્ટન્સીવાળી ટીમને મારા હૃદયપૂર્વક અભિનંદન. ટીમ ઈન્ડિયાને પણ ફાઈનલ માટે શુભકામનાઓ.

ભારતનો મુકાબલો ઇંગ્લેન્ડ સામે: આ સાથે જ ભારતીય ક્રિકેટ કંટ્રોલ બોર્ડના સચિવ અને ગૃહપ્રધાનના પુત્ર જય શાહે પણ ટ્વીટ કરીને ટીમ ઈન્ડિયાને અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા છે. સેમીફાઈનલમાં પ્રથમ બેટિંગ કરતા ન્યુઝીલેન્ડે ભારત સામે 108 રનનો ટાર્ગેટ આપ્યો હતો. ભારતીય ટીમે આ લક્ષ્યાંક બે વિકેટ ગુમાવીને હાંસલ કરીને ફાઇનલમાં પોતાનું સ્થાન બનાવી લીધું હતું. હવે ફાઇનલમાં ભારતનો મુકાબલો ઇંગ્લેન્ડ સામે થશે. લેગ સ્પિનર પાર્શ્વી ચોપરા અને ઓપનર શ્વેતા સેહરાવતના શાનદાર પ્રદર્શનના આધારે ટીમ ઈન્ડિયા ફાઈનલમાં પહોંચી છે. ભારતે 27 જાન્યુઆરીના રોજ જેબી માર્ક્સ ઓવલ ખાતે પ્રથમ સેમિફાઇનલમાં ન્યુઝીલેન્ડને આઠ વિકેટથી હરાવ્યું હતું.

ફાઇનલમાં જીત માટે તૈયાર: જે બાદ ભારતીય ટીમે અંડર-19 મહિલા T20 વર્લ્ડ કપની ફાઇનલમાં પ્રવેશ કર્યો હતો. આ મેચમાં ટીમ ઈન્ડિયાએ પહેલા બોલિંગ કરવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો હતો, જેને કેપ્ટન શેફાલી વર્માએ યોગ્ય ઠેરવ્યો છે. ભારતે ન્યૂઝીલેન્ડને 20 ઓવરમાં માત્ર 107 રન પર રોકી દીધું હતું. ભારતીય ટીમની શ્વેતાએ મેચમાં શાનદાર બેટિંગ કરતા પોતાની ત્રીજી અડધી સદી ફટકારી હતી અને 45 બોલમાં અણનમ 61 રન બનાવ્યા હતા. શ્વેતાએ 14.2 ઓવરમાં લક્ષ્યનો પીછો કર્યો. હવે 29 જાન્યુઆરી, રવિવારે ભારતીય ટીમ ઈંગ્લેન્ડ સાથે ટકરાશે. આ સાથે જ ઈંગ્લેન્ડે પણ બીજી સેમીફાઈનલમાં ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયાને ત્રણ રનથી હરાવીને ફાઇનલમાં જગ્યા બનાવી લીધી છે.
