હરિયાણાના મુખ્યપ્રધાન મનોહરલાલ ખટ્ટર બુધવારે પાનીપતમાં CAAના સમર્થન માટે પહોંચ્યાં હતાં. મુખ્યપ્રધાને જનસભાને સંબોધન કરી હતી, ત્યારબાદ હજારોની સંખ્યામાં લોકોની સાથે પાનીપતની જીટી રોડ પર એક પદ યાત્રા યોજી હતી. તે સાથે હરિયાણાના મુખ્યપ્રધાને મીડિયાને સંબોધતા ઇતિહાસ પર બનેલી તાનાજી ફિલ્મને ટેક્સ ફ્રી કરવા અંગેની જાહેરાત કરી હતી.
જણાવી દઇ એ કે દેશ અને પ્રદેશમાં CAAને લઇને સતત વિરોધ પ્રદર્શન થઇ રહ્યાં છે. વિપક્ષ આ મુદ્દાને લઇને સરકારને આંટોપવાના અનેક પ્રયાસો કરી રહી છે, ત્યારે ભાજપ સરકાર પણ લોકોમાં જાગૃતતા આવે તે માટે કાર્યક્રમો યોજી રહી છે. તેને લઇને જ હરિયાણામાં ભાજપ દ્વારા 5 જાન્યુઆરીથી લઇને 15 જાન્યુઆરી સુધી જાગૃતતા અભ્યાનની શરૂઆત કરી હતી. તે સમયે રેલીઓ દ્વારા CAA અને NRC સંલગ્ન માહિતીનું વિવરણ કર્યુ હતું. ભાજપનો આરોપ છે કે વિપક્ષ CAAને લઇને લોકોને ગુમરાહ કરી રહ્યો છે. જેના પગલે સરકાર રેલીઓેને સંબોધન કરી અને જનતામાં જાગૃતતા લઇ આવવાના પ્રયાસ કરી રહી છે.

According to popular view, the films which hit the screens on January 10, have been declared tax free not because of the subject or merit but what political stand the actors or filmmakers may have taken on issues like Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the JNU violence.
