સવારે 6 સ્થળો પર થયેલા 7 શ્રેણીબદ્ધ બોમ્બ બ્લાસ્ટ બાદ વધુ એક બ્લાસ્ટ થયો હતો. બ્લાસ્ટના કારણે અત્યાર સુધીમાં કુલ 207 કરતા પણ વધારો લોકોના મૃત્યુ નીપજ્યા છે, જ્યારે સરેરાશ 450 કરતા પણ વધારે લોકો ઘાયલ થયા છે.
શ્રીલંકામાં ચર્ચ અને હોટલ પર થયેલ હુમલાની PM મોદીએ નિંદા કરી છે. PM મોદીએ ટ્વીટ કરીને કહ્યું કે શ્રીલંકામાં થયેલા ભયાનક વિસ્ફોટની નિંદા કરું છું. આપણા ક્ષેત્રમાં આવી બર્બરતા માટે કોઈ જગ્યા નથી. ભારત શ્રીલંકાના લોકો એક સાભે એકજૂટતાથી સાથે ઉભા છે.

વિદેશ પ્રધાન સુષમા સ્વરાજે કહ્યું કે, શ્રીલંકાની ચર્ચોમાં ત્રણ બોંમ બ્લાસ્ટ થયા છે. કોંલકો ચર્ચ, નૈગોંબો અને બટ્ટિકલોબામાં થયા છે. ત્રણ બ્લાસ્ટ કોંલબોની હોટલ શાંગરી લા, કિંગ્સબરીમાં વિસ્ફોટ થયા છે.
