નરગુંડી સ્ટેશન પાસે લોકમાન્ય તિલક એક્સપ્રેસ પાટા પરથી નીચે ઉતરી જતા એક અકસ્માત સર્જાયો હતો. મળતી માહિતી મુજબ, આ ટ્રેન અસ્માતમાં 30 જેટલા લોકો ઘાયલ થયા છે. હાલ ઘટના સ્થળ પર બચાવ કામગીરી શરૂ કરી દેવામાં આવી છે.
આ અકસ્માતને પગલે અધિકારીઓ દ્વારા તપાસ હાથ ધરતા હજુ સુધી ક્યા કારણોસર અકસ્માત સર્જાયો તેનું સાચુ કારણ જાણવા મળ્યું નથી. આ અકસ્માતમાં ઘાયલ તમામ લોકોને સારવાર અર્થે SCB હોસ્પિટલ કટક ખાતે ખસેડાલ છે. જ્યાં તેમની સારવાર થઇ રહી છે.

CUTTACK: Heavy fog lead to an unidentified train hitting Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Express occurred between Salagaon and Nergundi railway station of Cuttack.
The accident led to five bogies of LTT Express getting derailed and another three getting displaced. Senior Railway officials and Train Driver/TTE have confirmed that there are no deaths. While the exact number of injured is unknown as of now, there were confirmed reports of at least four getting critically injured and about another 30 having minor injuries.
Railway accident medical van has reached the spot. The injured are being given appropriate treatment. Arrangements are being made to shift the critically injured to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.
