નવી દિલ્હીઃ કોરોના વાયરસથી પ્રભાવિત ઈટલીમાંથી 211 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સહિત કુલ 218 ભારતીયોને સ્વદેશ પરત લવાયા છે. વિદેશ રાજ્યપ્રધાન વી મુરલીધરને જણાવ્યું હતું કે, તેઓને 14 દિવસ સુધી અલગ રાખવામાં આવશે.

મુરલીધરને ટ્વીટ કરતાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે,"મિલાનના 211 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સહિત 218 ભારતીય દિલ્હી પહોંચ્યા છે. તે બધાને 14 દિવસ માટે અલગ રાખવામાં આવશે. ભારતીયો જ્યાં પણ મુશ્કેલીમાં મુકાયા હશે ત્યાં સુધી પહોંચીને મદદ કરવા માટે ભારત સરકાર કટિબદ્ધ છે"
230 લોકોને ઈરાનથી પણ લવાયા
અગાઉ, ઈરાનમાં ફસાયેલા 230થી વધુ લોકોને 2 વિમાન દ્વારા જેસલમેર લાવવામાં આવ્યા હતા. જેસલમેરમાં ભારતીય સૈન્ય આરોગ્ય કેન્દ્રમાં મુસાફરોને અલગથી રાખવામાં આવ્યા છે. વિદેશ પ્રધાન એસ. જયશંકરે માહિતી આપી હતી કે, ઈરાનથી કુલ 234 ભારતીયોને બહાર કાઢવામાં આવ્યા છે.
આ અંગે જયશંકરે કહ્યું હતું કે, "ભારતીયોમાં 131 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને 103 યાત્રાળુઓ હતા. હું મિશનને ટેકો આપનારા તમામ લોકોનો આભાર માનું છું"
