JNU ঘটনায় সরব, যাদবপুর নিয়ে চুপ কেন ? টুইট রাজ্যপালের

জগদীপ ধনকড় বলেন, যাঁরা JNU-এ পড়ুয়াদের উপর হামলা নিয়ে সরব হয়েছিলেন তাঁরা এখন চুপ কেন ।

কলকাতা, 7 জানুয়ারি : শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে হিংসা ও অরাজকতা মেনে নেওয়া হবে না । জওহরলাল নেহরু বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে হামলায় প্রতিবাদে পথে নামে যাদবপুর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ৷ সেই প্রসঙ্গে টুইটে সরব হলেন রাজ্যপাল জগদীপ ধনকড় । কর্তৃপক্ষের ভূমিকা নিয়েও প্রশ্ন তোলেন তিনি । গতকাল যাদবপুর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ঘটনার কথাও তিনি উল্লেখ করেন ।

আজ সকালে JNU-এ হামলা ও তার প্রতিবাদ প্রসঙ্গে টুইট করেন জগদীপ ধনকড় । টুইট করে তিনি লেখেন, 'শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানে হিংসা ও অরাজকতা মেনে নেওয়া হবে না । গতকাল যাদবপুর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে যা ঘটেছে তা নিয়ে কর্তৃপক্ষের একাংশ চুপ । অথচ তাঁরা JNU নিয়ে সরব হয়েছিলেন । এই বিষয়টি দুঃখজনক ও নিন্দার ।'

রাজ্যের নিষ্ক্রিয়তা নিয়েও প্রশ্ন তোলেন তিনি । তিনি টুইটে লেখেন, 'রাজ্য ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নিষ্ক্রিয়তায় ও বিভ্রান্তিতে উপাচার্যের অবস্থান আপোস করতে হয়েছে । যাদবপুর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে গতরাতের ঘটনায় কেন সবাই চুপ, হিংসার ক্ষেত্রেও কেন পক্ষপাতিত্ব হচ্ছে । বাড়িতে আগুন লাগলে সেটাই প্রথম প্রাধান্য পাওয়া উচিত । '

গত সন্ধ্যায় BJP, যাদবপুর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পড়ুয়া ও CPI(M)-এর মিছিল ঘিরে রণক্ষেত্র হয়ে ওঠে যাদবপুরের সুলেখা মোড় । আগে থেকেই মোতায়েন ছিল যাদবপুর থানার পুলিশ ৷ যাদবপুর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পড়ুয়ারা JNU-এ দুষ্কৃতী হামলার বিরুদ্ধে মিছিল করছিল । পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনতে পড়ুয়াদের উপর লাঠিচার্জ করে পুলিশ ৷ পড়ুয়াদের অভিযোগ, তারা শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে মিছিল করছিল ৷ অথচ তাদের উপর এলোপাথাড়ি লাঠিচার্জ করেন কর্তব্যরত পুলিশকর্মীরা ৷ মহিলাদেরও মারধরের অভিযোগ উঠেছে ৷ পরবর্তীতে পুলিশের তরফে পড়ুয়াদের কাছে ক্ষমা চাওয়া হয় ।
