ধরমশালা, 22 অক্টোবর: বিশ্বকাপে ভারতের বিজয়রথ চলছেই ৷ অল্পের জন্য নিজের শতরান এবং সচিন তেন্ডুলকরকে ছুঁয়ে ফেলার সুযোগ মাঠে ফেলে এলেও ধরমশালায় কিং সেই কোহলি ৷ বিরাট কোহলি-রোহিত শর্মাদের দাপটে পাঁচে পাঁচ করে ফেলল ভারতীয় দল ৷ 274 রানের লক্ষ্য তাড়া করতে নেমে 4 উইকেটে নিউজিল্যান্ডকে উড়িয়ে দিল ‘মেন ইন ব্লু’ ৷ ধরমশালায় এদিন লড়াইয়ের মঞ্চটা তৈরি করে গিয়েছিলেন রোহিত শর্মা ৷ সেটাই শেষ করলেন ‘কিং কোহলি’ ৷
বড় রান তাড়া করতে নেমে শুরুটা ভালো করেছিলেন অধিনায়ক রোহিত শর্মা ও শুভমন গিল ৷ মুম্বইকরের ব্যাটে এসেছে 46 রানের ইনিংস ৷ ভাগ্যের দোষে হিটম্যানকে ফিরতে হলেও ওপেনারদের 71 রানের পার্টনারশিপই লড়াইয়ের ভিত গড়ে দেয় ৷ যার শেষটা হয় বিরাটের 95 রানের ঝকঝকে ইনিংসে ৷ এদিন তিন অঙ্কের রান করতে পারলেই সচিনের ওডিআই ক্রিকেট সর্বোচ্চ সেঞ্চুরির (49টি) নজির ছুঁয়ে ফেলতে পারতেন কোহলি ৷ ছয় মারতে গিয়ে মাত্র 5 রানের জন্য সুযোগ হারান রানমেশিন ৷
