কলকাতা, 14 অক্টোবর : সৌরভ গাঙ্গুলিকে শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ৷ BCCI-র মসনদে বসতে চলেছেন সৌরভ গাঙ্গুলি ৷ আজ তা স্পষ্ট হয়ে যাওয়ার পর টুইট করেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ৷ মুখ্যমন্ত্রী লেখেন, "অবিসংবাদিতভাবে BCCI-এর প্রেসিডেন্ট নির্বাচিত হওয়ার জন্য সৌরভকে অভিনন্দন ৷ তোমার কাজের মেয়াদ সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন হোক ৷ সৌরভ তুমি দেশ ও বাংলার গর্ব ৷ CAB প্রেসিডেন্ট হিসেবে তুমি আমাদের গর্বিত করেছ ৷ তোমার নতুন ইনিংস দেখার জন্য মুখিয়ে রয়েছি ৷"

BCCI-র শীর্ষে কে থাকবেন তা নিয়ে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে জল্পনা চলছিল ৷ লড়াইটা ছিল সৌরভ ও ব্রিজেশ প্যাটেলের মধ্যে ৷ গতরাতে মুম্বইয়ের বৈঠক থেকে জল্পনা ছড়ায়, সৌরভ নয়, BCCI-র নতুন প্রেসিডেন্ট হতে চলেছেন ব্রিজেশ প্যাটেল ৷ কিন্তু, কিছুক্ষণ পরই 180 ডিগ্রি মোড় নেয় সেই নাটক ৷ জানা যায়, ব্রিজেশ নয়, সৌরভই বসতে চলেছেন ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট সংস্থার সর্বময় কর্তা হিসাবে ৷ এদিকে, কেন্দ্রীয় স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী অমিত শাহ-র ছেলে জয় শাহ হবেন নতুন সেক্রেটারি ৷ অনুরাগ ঠাকুরের ভাই অরুণ ধুমাল কোষাধ্যক্ষের পদে বসতে চলেছেন বলে খবর ৷
