নয়াদিল্লি, 6 ফেব্রুয়ারি : তাঁর সুরের জাদুতে শুধু ভারতীয়রাই নন, আচ্ছন্ন ছিলেন গোটা বিশ্বের মানুষ ৷ কিংবদন্তি সঙ্গীতশিল্পী লতা মঙ্গেশকরের জনপ্রিয়তা ছড়িয়ে পড়েছিল ওয়াঘার ওপারেও ৷ শোনা যায়, দেশভাগের পর অল ইন্ডিয়া রেডিয়োর অফিসে এসেছিল একটি চিঠি ৷ যার ছত্রে লেখা ছিল, "কাশ্মীর নিয়ে নাও, লতাকে ফিরিয়ে দাও ৷" আজ সুরসম্রাজ্ঞীর প্রয়াণের খবর পেতেই মুহ্যমান পাকিস্তান (Imran Khan pays tribute to Lata Mangeshkar) ৷

সকাল থেকেই লতা স্মরণ করেছে পাক ক্রিকেট ৷ পিসিবি প্রেসিডেন্ট রামিজ রাজা, অধিনায়র বাবর আজমদের শোকবার্তা এসেছে ৷ বর্তমান, প্রাক্তন ক্রিকেটারও কোকিলকন্ঠীর প্রয়াণে শোকস্তব্ধ ৷ শোক প্রকাশ করেছেন পাক প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইমরান খান ৷ টুইটারে ইমরান লেখেন, "লতা মঙ্গেশকরের মৃত্যুতে উপমহাদেশ হারাল এক সত্যিকারের মহান গায়িকাকে ৷ যাঁকে গোটা বিশ্ব চেনে ৷ তাঁর গাওয়া গান সারা বিশ্বের মানুষকে আনন্দ দিয়েছে ৷"

শোকবার্তা পাঠিয়েছেন বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা ৷ ঢাকা থেকে প্রকাশিত সেই শোকবার্তায় লেখা হয়েছে, "সুরসম্রাজ্ঞীর মৃত্যুতে উপমহাদেশের সঙ্গীত জগতে বিশাল শূন্যতার সৃষ্টি হল ৷" তাঁর আত্মার শান্তি কামনা করে পরিবারের সদস্যদের প্রতি সমবেদনা জানানো হয় ৷

আজ বিকেল পৌনে সাতটা নাগাদ মুম্বইয়ের শিবাজি পার্কে লতা মঙ্গেশকরের অন্ত্যেষ্টি ক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন হয় ৷ তাঁর শেষযাত্রায় ভেঙে পড়েছিল বাণিজ্য নগরী ৷ সুরসম্রাজ্ঞীকে শেষ শ্রদ্ধা জানাতে উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি, সচিন তেন্ডুলকর, শাহরুখ খান-সহ রাজনীতি, চলচ্চিত্র এবং সঙ্গীত জগতের বহু মানুষ ৷ চোখের জলে প্রিয় লতাদিদিকে শেষ বিদায় জানিয়েছেন তাঁরা ৷
