Punjabi Singer Killed : নিরাপত্তা প্রত্যাহার করতেই খুন পঞ্জাবের গায়ক-কংগ্রেস নেতা

গুলিতে খুন হলেন পঞ্জাবের জনপ্রিয় সঙ্গীত শিল্পী তথা কংগ্রেস নেতা সিধু মুসওয়ালাকে ৷ মাত্র একদিন আগেই তাঁর নিরাপত্তা প্রত্যাহার করে নেয় পঞ্জাবের আপ সরকার (Famous Punjabi singer and Congress Leader Sidhu Musewale killed in firing) ৷

চণ্ডীগড়, 29 মে : গুলি করে খুন করা হল পঞ্জাবের জনপ্রিয় সঙ্গীত শিল্পী তথা কংগ্রেস নেতা সিধু মুসওয়ালাকে (Famous Punjabi singer and Congress Leader Sidhu Musewale killed in firing) ৷ রবিবার পঞ্জাবের মানসা জেলায় তাঁকে লক্ষ্য করে গুলি চালায় অজ্ঞাত পরিচয় বেশ কয়েকজন দুষ্কৃতী ৷ মাত্র একদিন আগেই তাঁর নিরাপত্তা প্রত্যাহার করে নেয় পঞ্জাবের আপ সরকার ৷ এই দুষ্কৃতী হামলায় আরও দুই ব্যক্তি গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়েছেন বলে জানা গিয়েছে ৷

মানসা হাসপাতালের চিকিৎসক রনহীত রাই জানিয়েছেন, সিধু মুসওয়ালাকে মৃত অবস্থাতেই হাসপাতালে আনা হয় ৷ গুরুতর আহত আরও দু'জনকে অন্যত্র স্থানান্তরিত করা হয়েছে ৷ বিধানসভা নির্বাচনের আগে গত ডিসেম্বর মাসে কংগ্রেসে যোগ দিয়েছিলেন সেখানকার জনপ্রিয় গায়ক মুসওয়ালা ৷

পঞ্জাবে ভিআইপি সংস্কৃতি বন্ধে একদিন আগেই মোট 424 জনের নিরাপত্তা প্রত্যাহার করে নিয়েছে পঞ্জাব পুলিশ ৷ সেই তালিকায় নাম ছিল সিধু মুসওয়ালারও ৷ তাঁর এই মৃত্যুতে শোক প্রকাশ করেছে কংগ্রেস ৷ টুইটারে কংগ্রেসের তরফে শোকবার্তায় লেখা হয়েছে, "দল ও দেশের কাছে এই খবর স্তম্ভিত করে দেওয়ার মতো ৷ তাঁর পরিবার ও পরিজনদের উদ্দেশ্যে গভীর সমবেদনা ৷ " টুইটে করে এই মৃত্যুতে শোক প্রকাশ করেছেন রাহুল গান্ধিও ৷
