জন্মবার্ষিকীতে এ পি জে আবদুল কালামকে শ্রদ্ধার্ঘ্য প্রধানমন্ত্রীর

দিল্লি, 15 অক্টোবর : প্রাক্তন রাষ্ট্রপতি এ পি জে আবদুল কালামের 89 তম জন্মবার্ষিকীতে টুইট করে তাঁর প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি ।

টুইটে প্রধানমন্ত্রী লেখেন, "বিজ্ঞানী বা ভারতের রাষ্ট্রপতি হিসেবে দেশের উন্নয়নের জন্য তাঁর অবদান কখনই ভুলবে না দেশবাসী । তাঁর জীবনের কথা লাখ লাখ মানুষকে অনুপ্রাণিত করে, শক্তি দেয় । "

2002-2007 পর্যন্ত দেশের 11 তম রাষ্ট্রপতি হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছিলেন "ভারতের মিজ়াইল ম্যান" এ পি জে আবদুল কালাম । সাদা-মাটা জীবনযাপন, নিরপেক্ষ ব্যবহার তাঁকে সব রাজনৈতিক দলের কাছে গ্রহণযোগ্য করে তুলেছিল ।

সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য তিনিই প্রথম রাষ্ট্রপতি ভবনের দরজা খুলে দিয়েছিলেন । তিনি ছিলেন "জনগণের রাষ্ট্রপতি" ।

রাষ্ট্রপতি হিসেবে মেয়াদ শেষ হওয়ার পরও তিনি বিভিন্ন দেশে গেছেন । নতুন প্রজন্মকে অনুপ্রাণিত করেছেন । তাঁদের দিশা দেখিয়েছেন ।
