Radu Albot came back from a set down to win in three against Mackenzie McDonald in the Delray Beach Open semi-finals on Saturday.
Albot lost two consecutive service games to lose the first set 6-3 but was ruthless after that, taking the second and third set 6-0.
Albot will face Britain's Dan Evans in the final on Sunday. Evans beat big-hitting John Isner 3-6 6-3 6-2 to advance.
