మహరాష్ట్రలో విరిగిపడ్డ కొండచరియలు

మహారాష్ట్ర రాయ్​గఢ్​ జిల్లాలోని మహద్​ తలై గ్రామంలో కొండచరియలు విరిగిపడ్డాయి. సుమారు 300 మంది పౌరులు చిక్కుకున్నట్లు జిల్లా యంత్రాంగం ప్రాథమికంగా అంచనా వేసింది.

ఎన్డీఆర్​ఎఫ్ సిబ్బందికి సమాచారం అందించినట్లు రాయ్​గఢ్​ జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ తెలిపారు. భారీ వర్షాల కారణంగా నిల్చిన నీటితో ఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకోలేకపోతున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

ఈ ఘటనపై కేంద్రం సహాయాన్ని కోరింది మహారాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం. కొండచరియల్లో చిక్కుకున్న వారిని రక్షించడానికి ఆర్మీ, నేవీ బృందాలు రంగంలోకి దిగినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
