The formerly conjoined twins Nima and Dawa, and mother Bhumchu, have left Australia to return home to Bhutan where they will be reunited with their four siblings.

She's been very very happy whilst living here and today she's excited to be going home but also a little bit sad to be leaving everyone behind", said Debbie Pickering of the Children First Foundation at Melbourne airport.
The twin girls were 15 months old when they arrived in Australia.
They spent five months in the country before and after undergoing surgery to be separated.
The six hour long operation took place at Melbourne's Royal children's hospital on November 9 last year.
The girls were joined at the torso and shared a liver.
A team of 25 surgeons, nurses and anaesthetists was involved in the medical procedure.
