ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ: ਇਸ ਵਾਰ 72ਵੀਂ ਫੌਜ ਦਿਵਸ ਪਰੇਡ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਸ ਰਹੀ। ਫੌਜ ਦਿਵਸ 'ਤੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਤਾਨੀਆ ਸ਼ੇਰਗਿੱਲ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਮਰਦ ਫੌਜ ਟੁਕੜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਤਾਨੀਆ ਸ਼ੇਰਗਿੱਲ ਆਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਸਿਗਨਲ ਕੋਰ 'ਚ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਹਨ।

ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤਾਨੀਆ ਚੌਥੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਦ ਪਰੇਡ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ 'ਚ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਕਸਤੂਰੀ ਗਣਤੰਤਰ ਦਿਵਸ 'ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਬਣੀ ਸੀ।
ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤਾਨੀਆ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹੈ। ਤਾਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ, ਦਾਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੜਦਾਦਾ ਫੌਜ 'ਚ ਸਨ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਜਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ, "ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਬੇਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ। ਤਾਨੀਆ ਸ਼ੇਰਗਿੱਲ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਅੱਜ ਆਰਮੀ ਡੇਅ 2020 ਪਰੇਡ 'ਚ ਮਰਦ ਟੁਕੜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਔਰਤ ਬਣੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ 26 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਗਣਤੰਤਰ ਦਿਵਸ 2020 ਪਰੇਡ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀ ਬਣਨ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਦਿਨ।
