ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ, GST ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ

ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਿਰਮਲਾ ਸੀਤਾਰਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਜੀ.ਐਸ.ਟੀ. ਦੇ ਬਕਾਏ ਦਾ ਛੇਤੀ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਿਰਮਲਾ ਸੀਤਾਰਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਜੀ.ਐਸ.ਟੀ. ਦੇ ਬਕਾਏ ਦਾ ਛੇਤੀ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਬਣਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜ ‘ਤੇ ਅਸਰ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਜੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਟੀ. ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਲੰਬਿਤ ਪਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮਸਲੇ, ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਲੀਜ਼ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਟੈਕਸ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਵੀ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਪਹਿਲੂ ਵੀ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨਅਤੀਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਫੌਰੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਨਵੀਂ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਨੀਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੇਤੀ ਅਮਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਮਦਦ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ।
