ਕਰੋਲ ਬਾਗ਼ ਦੇ ਹੋਟਲ 'ਚ ਲੱਗੀ ਅੱਗ, 17 ਦੀ ਮੌਤ

ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਕਰੋਲ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੋਟਲ ਅਰਪਿਤ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ 17 ਲੋਕ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੁਲਸ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ਿਲਹਾਲ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੱਪਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਬਚਾਅ ਕਾਰਜ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਹੋਟਲ ਅਰਪਿਤ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਕਰੋਲ ਬਾਗ਼ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਰੋਡ 'ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਈਆਂ 17 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨਾਂ 'ਚ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਹੈ। ਅੱਗ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਾਇਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡ ਦੀਆਂ 24 ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਐਂਬੂਲੈਂਸ ਵੀ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ।

ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਸੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਨ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹੋਟਲ ਦੇ ਉਪਰਲੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਤੋਂ ਛਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਜਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਅਜੇ ਕੁੱਝ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਫ਼ਸੇ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਜਤਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
