ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ 2011 ਤੋਂ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸਿਮਰਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਏਆਈਬੀਏ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਮੁੱਕੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਤਮਗਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
