ਰਾਜੀਵ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਖੇਡ ਰਤਨ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ 'ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਪਾਉਣਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਫੀ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਨ।

ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਸਟਾਰ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਖੇਡ ਰਤਨ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਮਿਲਣ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਰੋਹਿਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੰਜ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਖੇਡ ਰਤਨ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਰੋਹਿਤ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਨਿੱਚਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਰੋਹਿਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ"

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, " ਇਹ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸਫਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਪਾਉਣਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਫੀ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਤਹਾਡੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਸੰਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ। ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਥ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਰਹੋ। ਮੈ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਦੂਰੀ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਰਚੁਆਲ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਗਲੇ ਲਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਇਸ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟਰ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਚਿਨ ਤੇਂਦੁਲਕਰ (1997-98 ), ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੋਨੀ (2007) , ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ(2018)।
