ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ: ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦਾ 550 ਸਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਰਤ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ 'ਚ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੈਠਕਾਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲੈ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ।

ਡੇਰਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਪੁਹੰਚ ਕੇ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਨੇ ਦੂਰਬੀਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਤੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ 30 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ 550ਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਲਈ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਕੈਪਟਨ ਨੇ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਉਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਬੀਐਸਐਫ ਦੇ ਅਮਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਉਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਲਾਂਘੇ 'ਤੇ ਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਫ਼ੀਸ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਲਗਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਫੀਸ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲਗਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਫੀਸ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ-ਦੀਦਾਰੇ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਹੈ।

ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਨਾਨਕ ‘ਚ ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਬੁਲਾਈ ਸੀ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਹੈ ਜਦ ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਵਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਕੈਪਟਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੁਖਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ, ਵਿਜੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ, ਓ ਪੀ ਸੋਨੀ, ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਸਣੇ ਕਈ ਆਗੂ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
