ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ: ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਈ ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਬੈਠਕ 'ਚ ਕਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਲਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਤਹਿਤ ਈ ਗਵਰਨੈਂਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਕਾਰਡ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਐਸ.ਸੀ. ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਹੱਦ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ 72 ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਐਸ.ਸੀ. ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ 70 ਸਾਲ ਸੀ। ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਬੈਠਕ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਇਹ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਲਈ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਤਜੁਰੇਬਕਾਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਸ.ਸੀ. ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਬਣੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਰਦਾਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਬੈਠਕ 'ਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ 550 ਸਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ 'ਚ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਾਲੀ ਪਈਆਂ 19 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਨ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਭਰਨ ਲਈ ਭਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਵੀ ਆਸਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੌਰੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਿਸਟਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਖਾਲੀ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ 5000, ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ (ਪੀਐਸਪੀਸੀਐਲ) ਵਿੱਚ 5300, 2500 ਅਧਿਆਪਕ, ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਹਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ 5000 ਪੈਰਾ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਟਾਫ ਤੇ ਮਾਲ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ 1300 ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਨੇ ਝੋਨੇ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਸਟਮ ਮਿਲਿੰਗ ਪਾਲਿਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਸੂਬੇ 'ਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਿਤ 4000 ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਮਿੱਲਾਂ 'ਚ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਬੇਰੋਕ ਮਿਲਿੰਗ ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਪੂਲ 'ਚ ਚੌਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਖਾਲੀ ਡਲਿਵਰੀ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
