ਸ਼੍ਰੀਨਗਰ: ਦੱਖਣੀ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਕੁਲਗਾਮ ਜ਼ਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਨੌਪੋਰਾ ਇਲਾਕੇ 'ਚ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 'ਚ ਦੋ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਵਿਜੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ, ''ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਲਸ਼ਕਰ-ਏ-ਤੋਇਬਾ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ NHW (ਯਾਤਰਾ ਰੂਟ) ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁੱਠਭੇੜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਈ, ਇੱਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਨੌਪੋਰਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਮੀਰ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚਲਾਈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇਵਾਹ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਭੱਜਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੱਜਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਸਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੀਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕੁਲਗਾਮ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਨੌਪੋਰਾ ਇਲਾਕੇ 'ਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਮੁੱਠਭੇੜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋ-ਤਿੰਨ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
