ਜੰਮੂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ: ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪਰਿਸ਼ਦ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਲਈ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 43 ਸੀਟਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
- ਇਸ ਪੜਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ 25 ਅਤੇ ਜੰਮੂ ਵਿੱਚ 18 ਸੀਟਾਂ ਹਨ।
- ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਤੋਂ 196 ਅਤੇ ਜੰਮੂ ਦੇ 125 ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ 321 ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ।
- ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਹਨ।

ਜੰਮੂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਉਧਮਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੰਚਾਰੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪਰੀਸ਼ਦ (ਡੀਡੀਸੀ) ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪੈ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਵੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਵੋਟਰ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਬੂਥਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਸ੍ਰੀਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਬਲਹਾਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪਰੀਸ਼ਦ (ਡੀਡੀਸੀ) ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਖਤ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਰਾਜ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਕੇ.ਕੇ. ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਵਾਰਤਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਮੂਹ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਸਕ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸਾਰੇ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਦੱਸ-ਦੱਸ ਲੀਟਰ ਸੈਨੀਟਾਈਜ਼ਰ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
