ହାଇଦ୍ରାବାଦ: ଭାରତୀୟ କ୍ରିକେଟ ଇତିହାସରେ ଅନ୍ୟତମ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ କ୍ରିକେଟର ମହେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସିଂହ ଧୋନି ଜୁଲାଇ 7(ମଙ୍ଗଳବାର) 39 ବର୍ଷରେ ପାଦ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ଧୋନି ଭାରତୀୟ ଟିମର ସଫଳ କ୍ୟାପଟେନ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଧୋନିଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ବରେ ମେନ ଇନ୍ ବ୍ଳୁ 2007 ଟି20 ବିଶ୍ବକପ, 2011 ଆଇସିସି ଦିନିକିଆ ବିଶ୍ବକପ, 2013 ରେ ଆଇିସିସି ଚମ୍ପିଆନ୍ସ ଟ୍ରଫି ବିଜେତା ହୋଇପାରିଛି । ଏହାପରେ ଧୋନି ପ୍ରଥମ ଓ ଏକମାତ୍ର କ୍ୟାପଟେନ ଭାବେ ଆଇସିସିର ସମସ୍ତ 3 ଟ୍ରଫି ବିଜେତା ରହିଛନ୍ତି ।
ଧୋନିଙ୍କ ଜନ୍ମ ଦିନରେ କ୍ରିକେଟ ଜଗତରୁ ଅଗଣିତ ପ୍ରଶଂସକ ସୋସିଆଲ ମିଡିଆ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି । ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ ଧୋନିଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରିକେଟ ଫ୍ୟାନ୍ସ ପୁଣି କ୍ରିକେଟ ମଇଦାନରେ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିରହିଛନ୍ତି । 2019 କ୍ରିକେଟ ବିଶ୍ବକପରେ ନ୍ୟୁଜିଲାଣ୍ଡ ବିପକ୍ଷ ସେମିଫାଇନାଲ ମୁକାବିଲାରେ ଧୋନି ଶେଷ ଥର ପାଇଁ ନଜର ଆସିଥିଲେ ।

ଚଳିତ ବର୍ଷ ଆଇପିଏଲର 13ତମ ଚେନ୍ନାଇ ସୁପର କିଙ୍ଗ୍ସର ନେତୃତ୍ବ ନେଇଥାନ୍ତେ ଧୋନି । ମାର୍ଚ୍ଚ 29ରୁ ଏହି ହାଇଭୋଲଟେଜ ଟୁର୍ଣ୍ଣାମେଣ୍ଟର ଖେଳାଯିବା ନେଇ ସୂଚୀ ରହିଥିଲା । ମାତ୍ର ମହାମାରୀ କୋରୋନା ଭାଇରସ ଯୋଗୁଁ ବିସିସିଆଇ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଏହାକୁ ସ୍ଥଗିତ ରଖାଯାଇଛି ।
