സണ്‍റൈസേഴ്‌സ് ഹൈദരാബാദിന് വേണ്ടി ഐപിഎല്ലില്‍ കളിച്ച രാഹുല്‍ ത്രിപാഠി 14 മത്സരങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും 413 റണ്‍സാണ് നേടിയത്. സ്ഥിരതയാര്‍ന്ന പ്രകടനം പുറത്തെടുത്ത 31-കാരനെ അയര്‍ലന്‍ഡ് പര്യടനത്തിനുള്ള ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ടീമിലാണ് ആദ്യമായി ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയത്. ഇന്ത്യ അയര്‍ലന്‍ഡില്‍ കളിച്ച രണ്ട് ടി20 മത്സരങ്ങളിലും രാഹുലിന് പ്ലേയിങ് ഇലവനില്‍ സ്ഥാനം ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല.
